Following on from the awayday in June 2006 there have been discussions between the Preparation for Modernised Healthcare Workgroup, the Advisory Management Group and the Operational Management Group about re-aligning the work of the Health of the Population Workgroup and Preparation of Modernised Healthcare Workgroup. It was agreed that a meeting would be held in order to continue these discussions.

- REGISTRATION: Healthcare Challenges - The Way Forward - 23 January 2007
- The purpose of this forum is to provide an opportunity to discuss and refresh thinking about policy drivers in both Health and Education. The day will be split into two sections with all members of all the workgroups being invited to the morning and lunch (9:30 - 1:30) and the Convenors and Deputy Convenors spending the afternoon discussing with the new Healthcare Challenges workgroup the outcomes from the morning session and how this group then moves forward.
