As you are aware we ran a series of workshops during 2009 across the region. As a result of these workshops, attendees expressed an interest in forming a regional practitioner network.
We would like to take this opportunity to invite you to attend an afternoon session around the formation of the network, However, in order to get some guidance around the formation of such a network.
At the roadshows, majority of the attendees were going to go back into their workplace and do something different. We are keen to ask participants from the roadshows to share with the group what they have done differently, what have been their successes and have they had any issues or problems.
We are delighted to welcome Helen Armitage, Project Lead, Trent Universities Interprofessional Learning in Practice (TUILIP). Helen will be presenting the work that they undertook under TUILIP and share issues and solutions. The main aim of the TUILIP Project was to develop sustainable models of IPL that would promote and facilitate the professional skills of students through collaborative working within the practice setting. We would like to take this opportunity to draw out the lessons learnt within the TUILIP Project and work with you on ways they could be applied locally.
