Programme for The People with Experience Regional Meeting 20th April 2011

SIGN UP HERE

This is an ideal opportunity for people interested in involving service users and carers in healthcare education in the University or practice setting to get together to share what we are currently doing and what we would like to do, perhaps with some help from others. Some people are going to share some initiatives but there will be plenty of time for others to do so in small groups so please feel free to bring with you case studies from your own area.

The day will be a mixture of presentations and small group work hoping to provide the opportunity to discuss current working and the generating of new ideas and potential opportunities.

If you are interested in presenting at this event please send a fifty word précis to Eve Peacock at cetl4healthne@newcastle.ac.uk

Service users and carers are very welcome and we look forward to their input into discussions.

We are hoping to have a quick look at the “Narrative Archive” (talkinghealthmatters.ac.uk) with regard to changes that have been made to the site and discuss the possibility of launching a regional network.

Further information about speakers and a draft programme this will be sent out in the near future.

Please note that it is free to attend, but for catering purposes etc, please book your space.
